4-Day Samburu & Ol Pejeta Safari

Northern Kenya offers a unique safari experience that differs dramatically from the savannah landscapes of southern parks. The semi-arid wilderness of Samburu National Reserve is known for its rugged beauty, dramatic river landscapes, and rare wildlife species that are not commonly found elsewhere in Kenya.

This four-day safari combines two of the region’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Travelers first explore Samburu, where the life-giving Ewaso Nyiro River attracts a wide variety of animals including elephants, predators, and the famous Samburu Special Five — Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx.

The journey then continues to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of East Africa’s leading wildlife conservation areas. Ol Pejeta is home to the largest population of black rhinos in East Africa and also protects the world’s last two northern white rhinos. Visitors also have the opportunity to see chimpanzees at the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

With carefully planned game drives, scenic landscapes, and exceptional wildlife encounters, this safari offers an unforgettable journey into one of Kenya’s most fascinating wildlife regions.
