Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Nairobi to Tsavo East National Park

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi as you travel southeast toward Tsavo East National Park. The drive offers scenic views of rural landscapes, small towns, and open countryside along the way.

Upon arrival at the park, you will begin your first exciting game drive as you make your way toward your lodge or safari camp. Tsavo East’s vast open plains provide excellent opportunities to spot wildlife including elephants, zebras, giraffes, and various antelope species.

You may also visit famous landmarks within the park such as Lugard Falls along the Galana River, where water cascades through sculpted rock formations. As the afternoon progresses, continue exploring the park in search of wildlife before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 2 – Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi

Begin the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. The cool morning hours provide excellent opportunities to observe animals moving across the plains or gathering near water sources.

Your guide will take you through different sections of Tsavo East National Park in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. The golden morning light also offers outstanding photography opportunities across the park’s expansive landscapes.

After returning to the lodge for breakfast, you will exit the park and begin the journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off will be arranged at your hotel, residence, or airport depending on your travel plans.
